Guided Tour of the Toy Museum

Sunday, 3 February 2013, 6.30 p.m.

Director Dr. Helmut Schwarz brought the toy treasures in the world-famous Toy Museum to life personally during a guided tour. He presented four floors of toys dating from the ancient world to the present day. The special exhibition on “Marvels of Technology – 100 Years of Schuco Toys” showed the development of the Franconian company Schuco from the fine moving plush and felt toys of the early days to the miracles of technical toys. One example of many in the Toy Museum that gave toy professionals a compact overview of the history of the toy industry.
