Getting your sales in shape - part 3: the last impression counts

from Spielwarenmesse eG /  Show comments

Your sales pitch has been a success when your customer is heading for the till. But this does not mean the job is done. What happens while the customer is paying and leaving will determine whether he returns another time or checks out a (potentially online) competitor for his next purchase. Up-to-date services as well as conclusive customer contact can be crucial here.

In his third video, entitled “The last impression counts”, Jörg Winter shows how you can deliberately bring about changes aimed at leaving a positive final impression on the customer. The following topics might be relevant to you:

  • Eye contact, in queues as well
  • What do I like about the customer?
  • “Have you found everything?”
  • “Please, thank you, of course”
  • A sentence more than necessary
  • No-goes
