Jada Toys, Universal extend licensing pact for vehicles, action figures

The Universal Monsters and vehicles from The Fast Saga will continue showing up in the toy department in new ways over the next few years

Following a successful, 7-year collaboration that began in 2015, Jada Toys Inc. and Universal Brand Development have inked extensions to their licensing agreements for additional multiyear terms that will commence next year.

Primarily known for its work in the vehicles category, Jada Toys has extended its reach into dolls and action figures in recent years. Previous collaborations with Universal have included replicas of the DeLorean Time Machine from the Back to the Future Trilogy and both K.I.T.T. and K.A.R.R. from Knight Rider, along with a range of 6-inch scale Universal Monsters action figures and Jurassic Park Jeeps.

Next year, Jada Toys plans to release a host of new products inspired by the Fast & Furious films, including the forthcoming Fast X.
