Licensed brands strike back: These are the Top 10 Global Licensors of 2022

Following the successful return of Licensing Expo in May, the Global Licensing Group has released new data on the strength of the licensing industry as published by its License Global magazine.

The “Top Global Licensors Report 2022” reflects an industry rebound from pandemic-era challenges with combined revenue of more than $260 billion reported by 88 licensors that took part in a recent survey. Of the 88 licensors, 40 of those are bringing in more than $1 billion annually.

  • Dotdash Meredith – $35.9 billion
  • Authentic Brands Group – $21.7 billion
  • WarnerMedia/Warner Bros. Consumer Products – $15 billion
  • The Pokémon Co. International – $8.5 billion
  • Hasbro – $8.4 billion
  • NBCUniversal/Universal Brand Development – $8.3 billion
  • Mattel – $7.4 billion (estimated)
  • Bluestar Alliance – $6.5 billion
  • Paramount Global/Paramount Consumer Products and Experiences – $6 billion
