Mattel names head of U.K. consumer products and hardlines EMEA

Mattel has announced the appointment of Jon Spalding as head of U.K. consumer products and hardlines, EMEA. In this role he will be leading the U.K. Consumer Products team and will take Regional Leadership for the hardlines category across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Spalding joins Mattel from the brand development and consumer products team within NBCUniversal where he has most recently been working as director – hardlines, publishing and food for the U.K. and Ireland as well as holding a regional EMEA role for the hardlines category.
