Introducing the Ethical Toy Program

from Mark Robertson

The Ethical Toys Program, set up by the International Council of Toy Industries (ICTI), gives you the opportunity to document your responsible conduct within your supply chain. Find out how the program works and what the Spielwarenmesse® does for your support, if you are a member already.

The Ethical Toy Program offers ethical toy factory certification, training and support which enables toy brands, retailers, and licensors to comply with global legislation, meet sustainability standards, manage risks and protect brand reputation. With far-reaching and specialized audits, a robust ethical certification scheme, capability building and training programs, education, as well as peer-to-peer learning, the program is the industry leader.

By joining the ICTI Ethical Toy Programs, toy brands and retailers benefit from unrivalled support to help them source responsibly and ensure compliance throughout their supply chain.

As well as the dedicated support of the ICTI team, members receive access to innovative supply chain management tools including, Connect. The Connect Platform lets members monitor and manage ethical supply chain information quickly and easily, putting them in control of their supply chain data, ensuring they have the information they need at hand to save time and money.

The program cooperates with thousands of toy manufacturers, brands, retailers and NGOs to monitor, manage and fix social sustainability issues in the toy industry supply chain and to support the well-being of factory workers.

Would you like to join the world’s largest community of brands and retailers committed to responsible toy sourcing?
