Global Toy Conference looks into digital worlds

At the Global Toy Conference in Nuremberg on 4.2.2013, experts discuss how online marketing and e-commerce can contribute to successful business. Because companies that feel just as much at home in the online world as in the traditional offline world have more scope for finding and binding customers. How traders and manufacturers can gain their customers' favour with social media, firm online strategies and targeted content marketing is shown by the speakers in NCC Mitte of the Nuremberg exhibition centre. The conference takes place parallel to the Spielwarenmesse International Toy Fair Nürnberg from 09:30 to 16:15 on the Monday of the fair.

Keynote speaker Sascha Lobo reveals how companies can create a confident and clever presence in the digital world. In his presentation, the Berlin Internet expert and book author deals with trends that farsighted companies are already incorporating in their business strategies today.

Yvette Schwerdt, marketing expert from New York, speaks on Multichannel Integration. Yes, but how? Schwerdt examines how static trade and online shops can supplement each other. She also analyses who could profit from a separate online shop or one of the various external platforms.

Using Mattel's successful Monster High dolls as examples, PJ Lewis, Director Marketing Mattel Brands, shows how a brand can be successfully positioned globally with social media.
