Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology supports young companies at Spielwarenmesse 2014

(Innovation made in Germany)
  • Up to 70% trade fair funding for young German companies
  • "Innovation Made in Germany" pavilion in the new Hall 3A

The Spielwarenmesse and the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi) are helping young companies to take part in the trade fair, taking place in Nuremberg from 29 January to 3 February 2014. All companies with an innovative proprietary product, fewer than 50 employees and an annual turnover not exceeding €10m can apply for financial support from the BMWi. In addition, the company must have its headquarters and business operations in Germany and be less than 10 years old. The firms presenting themselves as "Innovation Made in Germany" will be in a pavilion in the new Hall 3A. After over a year of construction, Spielwarenmesse eG is inaugurating the modern and sustainable hall of the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre right in time for the start of the world's largest gathering of the toy industry.

Companies from Germany have until 30 October 2013 to sign up for the pavilion. The relevant documents and other information can be found at www.spielwarenmesse.de/aussteller/foerderprogramm. All the firms benefiting from the funding programme will receive free consultations to ensure their presence at the trade fair is both efficient and effective. In addition, the exhibitors on the pavilion can share information on Facebook. A separate group at www.facebook.com/groups/190674484395559 allows them to contact and support each other.
