What makes an ordinary toy a ToyAward winner? In a well-designed overall concept it combines an ingenious play concept with educational value and safety of use. In the run-up to Spielwarenmesse the jury of eleven experts was faced with the unenviable task of identifying toys with potential for the award. They had 601 submissions (2014: 491), more than ever before, to choose from. This year 318 companies (2014: 271) sent in products. The jury nominated three products each from the four different age categories. The nominees will find out whether they are lucky winners at the Spielwarenmesse opening ceremony on 27.01.2015. Trade visitors can view all nominations, the winners and many other creative toy ideas from 28.01.-02.02.2015 in the TrendGallery, Hall 3A.
