New tool from Spielwarenmesse for turning contacts into complete hits

For those involved in the global toy industry, the Spielwarenmesse is the place where they can go to make contacts they hope will develop into new business partnerships – because Nuremberg is where around 2,800 exhibitors meet up with more than 70,000 trade visitors with the aim of doing mutually beneficial business. In order to make sure that the right partners come together to exploit the immense sales potential offered by the fair, Spielwarenmesse eG is introducing a new service: matchmaking.

Even in the run-up to the exhibition held from 27 January to 01 February 2016, exhibitors and trade visitors are showing what they offer and what they are interested in. They are using their Matchmaking Account to make appointments and receive contact suggestions that are individually tailored to their profile. Exhibition participants can thus not only maintain and manage existing business relationships, but also find new business partners. Ernst Kick, CEO of Spielwarenmesse eG, calls on everyone to join in: "With our new matchmaking service, each participant can get more for themselves out of the Spielwarenmesse. Because everyone who indicates what he has or is looking for increases his chance of enjoying a complete success with his new contacts. That's our goal. We're constantly working on efficiently bringing together the market partners."

All exhibitors receive a free basic account. They can activate it via Spielwarenmesse's online service centre and then personalize their profile. With an upgrade, exhibitors can then contact buyers, resellers and distributors direct and make appointments. Every visitor can create a free premium account after buying his tickets. From now on users can log in via Spielwarenmesse's web site.

The matchmaking service www.spielwarenmesse.de/en/matchmaking links scheduling with the online catalogue and organiser together with watchlist options making it a helpful trade-fair planning tool. In short, it's the key to new contacts.
