ToyPreview: Toy manufacturers present initial trends

  • 22 exhibitors to showcase their new products on 6 and 7 October  
  • Insights-X, taking place in parallel, offers synergies

Well-known companies in the industry will be offering an initial glimpse through the keyhole some four months before the Spielwarenmesse starts: a total of 22 exhibitors will present their latest product lines and supporting marketing campaigns for the coming business year at the ToyPreview on 6 and 7 October. They will meet with central buyers, representatives of purchasing cooperatives, licensors and media representatives in Hall 12.2 and its adjoining foyer at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre. With the Insights-X stationery expo taking place alongside (6 to 9 October 2016), manufacturers and visitors will benefit again this year from the potential of both events organised by Spielwarenmesse eG. Efficient guidance and dedicated signposting will ensure the two events are closely linked.

ToyPreview participants will offer their customers an exclusive preview of their 2017 toy innovations. With these innovations being assigned to various product groups, central buyers and wholesalers will get a comprehensive overview of next season’s trends. During in-depth conversations with CEOs and representatives of the major companies, they will have the opportunity to express what the market is looking for. Their ideas help show the way forward and are often incorporated into the final product development phase. “Spielwarenmesse eG, as a service provider, is supporting the industry’s desire for joint event marketing through the ToyPreview and an innovative service package”, said Senior Project Manager Andreas Pfeiffer, explaining the concept.

The premium event will again take place alongside the Insights-X stationery expo, which has spilled into a third hall this year. 270 exhibitors will present their new products in the product groups Writing Utensils and Equipment, Desktop, Paper and Filing, Bags and Accessories, Artistic and Creative, and Stationery and Gift Articles. With Insights-X running at the same time, ToyPreview exhibitors can benefit from unique synergies. They can network with their contacts, acquire new customers and access untapped lines of business.
