Wednesday to Sunday!
31 Jan – 4 Feb 2018
Modern, informative and practical perhaps best describes the Spielwarenmesse’s revised app. Its service-led features help users plan and prepare for the next fair (31 January to 4 February 2018), whilst offering on-site support. With regularly updated content providing comprehensive information about the industry and toy fair at a glance, the Spielwarenmesse App is a valuable companion for exhibitors and visitors all year round. Participants are already familiar with the free “Pocket-Size Fair Catalogue” which has been consistently developed since 2008.
The Spielwarenmesse App is now available in a fresh design. Its clear and simple menu offers industry-related content 365 days per year. The new features include daily news from the industry, as well as editorial articles such as interviews, reportages and background information which provide readers with a deeper understanding of the sector. Experts are invited to share their knowledge and experience in guest contributions. Readers are also given plenty of tips for their stay in the ToyCity of Nuremberg, such as information on the sights, shopping ideas, a selection of bars and restaurants as well as the recipe for the latest ToyCocktail.
The other, more familiar features have, likewise, been improved. To enable retailers to prepare their visit to the Spielwarenmesse as thoroughly as possible, the app incorporates not only a list of exhibitors coupled with various search filters but also a navigable hall plan. Moreover, attendees can view further information on chosen exhibitors such as their contact details and product portfolios. Retailers and buyers can use the app to create a virtual business card with a QR Code which they can share with their business partners. Moreover, there is a direct link to the online catalogue organiser: Favourite companies on the Spielwarenmesse App can be synchronised with the organiser at the touch of a button and vice versa.
The iBeacon Technology has a particularly innovative way of supplying information. During the fair, trade visitors receive push notifications when their Bluetooth is activated. Irrespective of where they happen to be, the technology delivers the latest news from the toy fair straight to their smartphone. Easy to navigate and intuitive, this new app is so versatile it can be tailored to individual needs. Spielwarenmesse eG has developed the app in cooperation with a specialist for high-end mobile solutions. The software company Eyeled GmbH, based in Saarbrücken, has been a reliable and future-oriented partner right from the outset. The Spielwarenmesse App is designed for Apple, Google Android and Windows Mobile/Windows Phone.
