Hall and Special Area act as central hub
Every year at the Spielwarenmesse, retailers and buyers can experience twelve different product groups and an extensive supporting programme. One such segment focuses on products for babies and infants. When Nuremberg’s exhibition centre opens its doors from 30 January to 3 February 2019, this group will fill more than a hall and have its own Special Area, reflecting its growing importance in the marketplace. The dedicated ProductGuide helps visitors gain their bearings.
Both German and international suppliers will be offering a wide selection of toys and products for babies and infants across the Spielwarenmesse. Ernst Kick, CEO of Spielwarenmesse eG, states: “The segment dedicated to our youngest members of society is gaining importance for toy retailers which is why we’re devoting more attention to it and presenting a varied and high-quality spectrum of products and services.” More than 400 companies are exhibiting baby and infant products for central and add-on ranges. The majority of suppliers from this product group are located in Hall 2 and part of Hall 3. Grünspecht Naturprodukte from Germany, Hevea and Sebra from Denmark and Novatex from France are appearing at the Spielwarenmesse for the first time, featured alongside renowned and long-standing exhibitors such as Fehn, Lässig and Steiff.
Special Area with Guide
The successful Special Area Baby & Infant Articles is taking place for the third time. Nestled in a central location between Halls 2 and 3, it invites visitors to explore and browse. This area gives buyers a clear insight into products available in the fields Baby Toys, Baby Textile, Travel Systems, Care & Food, Home & Safety, and is complemented by a multi-page Guide. In response to popular demand, all products showcased in the Special Area are featured in the Guide with images and descriptions. The Guide also includes a listing of all companies presenting baby products at the Spielwarenmesse. The exhibitors are structured so as to help visitors navigate the product group as efficiently as possible.
