A flying start for exhibitors at the Spielwarenmesse 2020

Companies involved in the toy industry simply cannot afford to miss the annual Spielwarenmesse. The world of toys is scheduled to gather again in Nuremberg from 29 January to 2 February 2020. Many companies there will have attended the fair many times before. This is because there is no other event in the world that is quite as effective. Indeed, that is why exhibiting at the Spielwarenmesse is seen by many as an important pillar in strengthening their market position. The Spielwarenmesse offers firms excellent support in this endeavour by providing a fitting range of valuable services completely free of charge.

New exhibitors take to the stage

The many regular exhibitors will be joined by a cavalcade of companies attending the Spielwarenmesse for the first time. Accordingly, the German firm Pichler Modellbau GmbH is returning to the fair after a break. The company can be found in the combined product group Model Railways and Model Construction, which was first presented in this new format at the last event. Created in 2019, the new product group Electronic Toys will feature the UK Company WOW Stuff, which brings well-known licences to life. Enhanced exhibition appearance
The Spielwarenmesse helps first-time exhibitors reach their full potential by offering a range of different packages and services. The StarterPackage makes it easier, quicker and less complicated for exhibitors to appear at the fair. Comprising everything from stand construction and furniture to electricity supply and cleaning, this package provides new arrivals with the most important basics. The Product Launch Package has been created to shine a light on a new product. The package includes communication tools for targeting the trade and international media representatives. The Marketing Package includes measures for targeting trade visitors, such as a company listing in the Spielwarenmesse’s print and online media, entries in the exhibition calendar as well as ten free day tickets. Free tutorials and check lists give exhibitors useful information on planning the fair, visitor marketing and following up business leads after the fair.

Second location for more exposure
The special and activity areas at the Spielwarenmesse give exhibitors the opportunity to present their products in a second location in addition to their actual stand. All exhibiting companies can enter their products for the ToyAwards free of charge. The nominees and winners will be showcased in a central location in the TrendGallery throughout the fair and in a dedicated presentation area at the PressPreview. The Innovation Show on the day before the fair gives exhibitors the unique chance to unveil their innovations to international media representatives.
