ToyInnovation – the fair innovation programme
A jury of experts chooses the most creative products in four categories as a reference for retailers covering the industry's latest innovations. The ToyAward is presented to the winners of the four categories.
The TrendGallery in Hall 3A concentrates the industry's innovations and know-how for 2015 in one place. The TrendCommittee has singled out the following hit trends of the year: Express Yourself, Beyond Reality and Little Scientists. The Toy Fair offers daily trend presentations (Wednesday-Sunday) at 3 p.m. to inform visitors about these innovations, as well as live events (10 p.m.-12 noon)
and guided tours for visitors on Sunday between 11 a.m.-12 noon and 2 p.m.-3 p.m. Detailed information of the events is available at www.spielwarenmesse.de/en/trendgallery.
ToyNetwork – where the toy network meets
Many game designers personally present their latest game ideas and create new concepts with you. The GamesCafé is a cooperation between the German Games Archive in Nuremberg, the Game Designer Association and Spielwarenmesse eG.
In the New Exhibitor Centre trade visitors can meet 55 new exhibitors from 25 countries. The booths and entries of all new exhibitors at the 2015 Toy Fair are marked 'new' in the online catalogue.
The Young Innovative Companies pavilion is shared by around 25 start-ups presenting 'Innovations made in Germany'. The project is sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology.
12 national pavilions ease targeted quests for offerings from specific national markets. The International Pavilion Guide provides a comprehensive detailed overview of all exhibitors. The brochure is available in the Internet at www.spielwarenmesse.de/?id=7795&L=1
The World of Toys information booth provides an overview of the international trade fair programme organised by Spielwarenmesse eG. Interested exhibitors can arrange appointments in advance to discuss the fairs in Hong Kong, Istanbul, Moscow and Mumbai. Information is also available at: www.world-of-toys.org
The toy industry focuses on toy safety. International test institutes present their test methods in the Testing & Inspecting Centre, thus ensuring that aside from fun, products also afford safety and quality.
