The international toy industry knows where it wants to be: at the
Spielwarenmesse International Toy Fair 2011 in Nürnberg. Even more
companies than last year have registered with Spielwarenmesse eG to exhibit at the worldwide industry’s leading fair. This development encompasses all twelve product groups. From 02–08.02.2011 in Nürnberg, manufacturers can find trade contacts and new customers for their products from over 100 countries.
The baby and infant articles segment forms a separate product group for the first time at next year’s International Toy Fair. The special Baby’sWorld area in 2010 attracted a very big response as the forerunner of this product group. This hot topic filled the whole of hall 2 in 2010 and exceeded the ambitious expectations of the organizer and exhibitors. The majority of exhibitors have already registered again with a request for more space at the International Toy Fair 2011 and other new exhibitors want to present their baby and infant products. Spielwarenmesse eG is therefore planning to expand the area for the new product group. The cooperation partner EK/servicegroup will also present marketing concepts for toyshops, stores or shop-in-shop models. This means traders will find an integrated approach for every size of sales space to achieve cross-selling effects between toys and products for babies and infants.
School articles and stationery have grown into a separate product group at the International Toy Fair after the three-year success of the special “Way to School” programme. Traders recognized the profitable interaction between the ranges, so that the suppliers are moving into hall 9 at the International Toy Fair permanently. There are also more international manufacturers with interesting new product trends. The cooperation partner duo schreib & spiel rounds off the programme for traders with combinable modules and dual sales concepts for marketing stationery and toys in the specialist trade.
The great interest of national and international manufacturers in being there in Nürnberg shows how well the International Toy Fair has constantly succeeded in combining the products in the established and new product groups with the worldwide demand.
