GP Flair’s €1.5bn selling franchise returns with a brand-new toy range and 3D CGI TV animation

By tnp.media

  • A billion-dollar toy brand of the mid-noughties is reborn in 2019, as GP Flair unveils its new master toy collection for Gormiti.

The extensive collection will be a major launch for Flair in autumn 2019. Action figures will be at the heart of the GP Flair products line with basic, deluxe and super deluxe to choose from, while the One Tower Playset will be the centre of the action for the collectable mini figure series. Kids will also be keen to get their hands on the Elemental Bracer, the essential tool to shoot and defeat the Darkans that is compatible with the action figures.

The line will be supported by a brand-new 3D CGI animation series based on the Gormiti characters created by Giochi Preziosi in 2005, which, in a short time, became a global phenomenon as well as the main action property for kids across Europe. Distributed in more than 50 countries, sales of over 500 million toys generated retail revenues of € 1.5 billion.

Rolling out on CITV in Q1 2019, the first season 52 x 11-minute episodes combines action and comedy and is aimed at boys aged five to eight. The show follows the adventures of four children who encounter the One Tower, an ancient forgotten fortress on the island of Gorm. Here they find the Elemental Bracers, which allow them to evoke the legendary Gormiti and fight with the Darkans, ancestral enemies of the Gormiti.
