The Good Toy Guide is joining forces with the Scandinavian Toy Institute to bring its Good Toy certification and brand support to toy makers across the region.
The new partnership will enable toy manufacturers to gain the Scandinavian body’s certification if their products carry documented play and learning values. An accreditation will automatically entitle them to inclusion in the Good Toy Guide.
It is planned that this inclusion will then increase the commercial value of certification, providing access to the range of brand support services offered by the Good Toy Guide.
The Scandinavian Toy Institute’s STI certification focuses on ten areas of child development and is a more comprehensive certification process than the product assessments conducted for the Good Toy Guide. The STI certificate includes a test summary, making it possible for manufactures to communicate the developmental benefits of products alongside the key features.
