Mattel unveils Miley Cyrus Barbie signature doll

Mattel has introduced the Barbie Signature Miley Cyrus Doll, honoring the singer's career as a musician, actress and advocate for self-expression. The collectible was unveiled one month after Cyrus received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Attention to detail

In a video shared by Billboard, Cyrus expressed her enthusiasm upon seeing the doll for the first time, praising the attention to detail in its design. She highlighted elements including the outfit, accessories, hairstyle and microphone, noting that the microphone was particularly important because it represents both her music and the importance of using one's voice.

Fulfillment of a personal dream

Cyrus also shared the milestone on social media, describing the Barbie as the fulfillment of a personal dream. Reflecting on childhood memories of playing with Barbie dolls, she said holding a doll modeled after herself was a "full circle moment." The collectible is dressed in a custom Alaïa look inspired by her Golden Burning Sun project and is now available.
