BVS represents the interests of the specialist toy retail trade in Germany. It is affiliated to the German Retail Federation (HDE). As a trade association, it offers its members a wide range of services for the success of their businesses. BVS is the point of contact for economic issues as well as for the latest trends and innovations in the toy market.

Founded with the aim of strengthening and promoting medium-sized businesses, duo schreib & spiel is now an independent and dynamic retailer cooperation in the stationery and toy industry. The Bundesgremium des Papier- und Spielwarenhandels is the legal representation of the interests of the stationery industry and toy retailers in Austria. Its work focuses on education, the organization of industry campaigns such as the "Week of the Calendar" and individual member advice.
