Key facts about Spielwarenmesse®
The Spielwarenmesse® in Nuremberg, Germany is the world’s leading fair for the toy industry with over 2,900 exhibitors from 68 nations and more than 70,000 trade visitors from 130 nations. Admission is restricted solely to companies trading in the branches represented at the toy fair.
The Spielwarenmesse® 2021 Summer Edition will take place from Tuesday, 20 to Saturday, 24 July.
Spielwarenmesse® is traditionally held at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre at the start of each year. Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, an early decision was taken not to proceed with the event from 27 to 31 January 2021. Instead, organiser Spielwarenmesse eG has postponed the industry’s leading international trade fair to the summer for the first time in the event’s history. The rising number of infections and further travel restrictions were the key factors behind this decision. Given the significant change in the prevailing conditions and concern for the health of all involved, a Spielwarenmesse® of the usual quality could not be guaranteed in late January.
Yes. Spielwarenmesse® 2022 will take place at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre from Wednesday, 2 to Sunday 6 February 2022.
