The Spielwarenmesse in Nuremberg, Germany is the world’s leading fair for the toy industry with over 2,900 exhibitors from 68 nations and more than 62,000 trade visitors from more than 130 nations. Spielwarenmesse is a trade fair, only admitting toy industry visitors.

 

When will the next Spielwarenmesse take place?

The next Spielwarenmesse will take place in Nuremberg from January 30 to February 3, 2024.

 

Are children admitted to Spielwarenmesse?

Spielwarenmesse is solely a trade fair. This means that only registered trade visitors will be able to buy entry tickets. Children and young persons under the age of 16 will not be admitted to the fair – other than children up to the age of six months in the company of a participant who has been admitted.

There is no childcare available.

 

Can I bring pets or animals?

No. Animals are not allowed on the exhibition grounds.

When does ticket sales start?

Ticket sales will start at the end of November 2023 and exclusively online. The e-tickets are available on mobile devices and allow contactless access.

Why are there no paper tickets?

In order to enable contactless access to the fairground, there will only be e-tickets and no paper tickets at Spielwarenmesse 2024.

 

Is Spielwarenmesse open to the public?

No. Spielwarenmesse is a trade fair, to which only trade visitors are admitted.

 

Who is a trade visitor?

Trade visitors are all persons who trade in or work with toys or other products represented at Spielwarenmesse on a commercial basis. The core target group of Spielwarenmesse comprises trade buyers. For more details see the definition of a trade visitor.

 

How do I register as a trade visitor?

Simply register online for Spielwarenmesse with the start of ticket sales at the end of November 2023.

 

Do I have to register again every year?

No. Visitors from Germany receive the login data for the online ticket shop by e-mail or their permit by post.

International visitors are also contacted automatically by the relevant representative and then receive the login data to the online ticket shop.

Have you received a permit until now but in future would prefer to receive the login data for the online ticket shop by e-mail? No problem, just send us a brief e-mail to visitors@spielwarenmesse.de.

What is Spielwarenmesse Digital?

Spielwarenmesse Digital is an innovative digital networking platform. Discover relevant contacts quickly and clearly, arrange virtual audio-video meetings and experience the Spielwarenmesse program wherever you are.

 

How do I get access to Spielwarenmesse Digital as a visitor?

To access Spielwarenmesse Digital, you can log in at digital.spielwarenmesse.de with your e-mail address. You will then receive an e-mail with a 6-digit confirmation code. After entering your confirmation code at digital.spielwarenmesse.de, you will then be redirected, can create your profile and participate in Spielwarenmesse Digital.

 

How do I get access to Spielwarenmesse Digital as an exhibitor?

Your media package includes participation in the Spielwarenmesse Digital Platform. This way you can increase your visibility and can also be found away from your stand. You can adjust your profile at any time via your personal self-promotion link, which you receive after stand confirmation. Every employee of your company has access to Spielwarenmesse Digital via their personal exhibitor pass and can create their personal profile there.

 

What technical requirements do I have to meet to participate in Spielwarenmesse Digital?

Participation is possible via the browser or the Spielwarenmesse App and with sufficient bandwidth.
The following, common web browsers (in each case in the current version) are supported: 

  • Chrome
  • Safari
  • Firefox

The use of outdated versions or other browsers such as Internet Explorer or Edge may lead to restrictions.
All audio and video functions run entirely through the web browser. No plugins or similar are integrated.
Sufficient bandwidth is required for the use of video streams and audio-video calls (cf. YouTube, Zoom, MS Team).
The use of a headset is recommended.

Who is a media representative?

Journalists from print/TV/radio as well as employees from online editorial departments, press photographers, press spokespersons and operators of an industry-related blog/social media channel can obtain a press or blogger ticket from us. You can find our accreditation requirements here.

 

How do I get access to Spielwarenmesse Digital as a journalist?

Your press ticket already includes access to Spielwarenmesse Digital. You can log in to digital.spielwarenmesse.de with your e-mail address. You will then receive an e-mail with a 6-digit confirmation code. After entering your confirmation code at digital.spielwarenmesse.de, you can create your profile and participate in Spielwarenmesse Digital.

 

Why was my accreditation rejected?

As a trade fair, we check each accreditation individually for eligibility. If your accreditation request was rejected, you have not fulfilled one or more requirements for it. You can find the prerequisites in our accreditation guidelines for press representatives. Accreditation for previous events does not automatically mean legitimation for the current trade fair. There is no right to accreditation.
