Save the date: bio!TOY conference 2023 (hybrid)

On March 21 and 22, the 3rd bio!TOY conference will take place in Nuremberg, Germany, bringing the supply chain to the stage. Well-known manufacturers such as Lego, Schleich and Fischertechnik will be there.  The conference not only communicates important information for the entire supply chain, it also shows practicable approaches to product design, proper communication of sustainability content or closing loops. For the first time, there are also plans to set up a political stage where associations and the EU Commission will discuss their ideas on how to shape change. A table-top product exhibition and a special entertainment program are also planned. "We are very much looking forward to the third edition of bio!TOY. The first two events were great fun, and fun is, after all, an important component when it comes to toys," says Dr. Michael Thielen, publisher of bioplastics Magazine and co-organizer of bio!TOY. "It was clear that the early pioneers among toy manufacturers have recognized the need for a course correction in materials. Young parents in particular are looking more and more at sustainable products, and not just for baby food or clothing." The conference will be held hybrid and in English. The 3rd bio!TOY conference is supported by Spielwarenmesse eG and the German Association of the Toy Industry among others.
