A meeting place full of energy, inspiration and business opportunities: From 28 January to 1 February 2025, the international toy industry gathered in Nuremberg for the 74th Spielwarenmesse. With an even larger exhibition area, innovative new products and new networking formats, the fair became the perfect place for exciting discoveries and valuable encounters. Renowned manufacturers, promising start-ups and curious trade visitors all came together to help shape the future of the toy world.

At Spielwarenmesse 2025, various curated special areas offered visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in innovative themed worlds. The established and new Specials presented current trends, sustainable developments and interactive experiences that reflected the diversity of the industry.

Toys go Green showcased the latest sustainable innovations in the toy industry, proving that environmental awareness has long been an integral part of the industry.

In the new Sport, Leisure, Outdoor area in Hall 7A, visitors could not only see new products, but also try them out. One of the highlights was the spectacular stunt show by Chili Pro Scooter, which thrilled visitors twice a day.

The New Product Gallery was once again a magnet for visitors. The most exciting new products from the show were displayed in showcases, providing a compact overview of the most important innovations.

The Toys for Kidults special focused on the growing segment of adult toy lovers. In the central entrance area, there was inspiration from the 'Collectibles', 'Creative Fantasy' and 'Tabletop Games' areas - including live activities and a photo spot.

ToyTrends 2025 also received special attention with its new location in Entrance Mitte. The area presented the hot trends 'Anime & Friends' and 'Healthy Heroes' and invited visitors to discover them with interactive elements.

Award-winning - new products in the spotlight

629 products competed for the ToyAward, the Spielwarenmesse's annual prize for new products, which honours innovations and trends for the future. The awards ceremony took place on the second day of the fair at the Toy Business Forum, which was packed to the rafters. Visitors and press were delighted by the inspiring atmosphere of the event. The winning and nominated products were on display at the ToyAward stand throughout the fair. 

20 years Toy Business Forum - and how it was celebrated

The Toy Business Forum in Hall 3A started afresh with a new, exciting concept. The most interesting minds shared their knowledge on trends, artificial intelligence, digitalisation, sustainability, kidults and ToyTrends. A stunning stage with great lighting effects, exciting presentation formats and networking opportunities in a relaxed atmosphere provided new inspiration. In addition to the presentations, there was something for everyone, from the Toy Pitch to live podcasts, Exhibitors on Stage and the presentation of the ToyAward and Model Car Hall of Fame Awards. At lunchtime, the Networking Break invited visitors to relax and network at one of the many food trucks. Entertainment was provided by artists and bands.

Networking on a new level - this is where the industry meets!

Spielwarenmesse isn't just about business - it's about experiencing, sharing and celebrating. The RedNight transformed the fair into a meeting place where around 100 exhibitors presented themselves with music, drinks and a good atmosphere. For those who preferred to make targeted contacts, the LicenceLounge provided the perfect opportunity for in-depth discussions. Creative minds came together at the Game Inventors Convention to present their ideas and meet potential partners. A special highlight for model car fans was the induction ceremony into the Model Car Hall of Fame. All of these events made the show more than just a trade event - it was a place where the industry came alive.
