Argos expands Playmobil range to more than 300 products

Argos is significantly expanding its partnership with Playmobil, growing its range from just four products at launch to more than 300 ahead of the key Christmas trading period. The move supports both companies’ long-term growth plans in the UK.

Biggest-ever Playmobil selection

By the end of August, Argos will offer its biggest-ever Playmobil selection, covering popular themes including Action Heroes, Pirates, Knights, Dinosaurs, Country, My Life and Playmobil Junior. The range will also feature licensed collections based on Barbie, WWE and ESA, as well as larger sets such as the Large Fire Station and Large Pirate Ship.

Two products – the Private Jet and Fire Rescue Operation with Underwater Motor – will be exclusive to Argos. The expanded range is supported by joint marketing and business activities designed to introduce more families to Playmobil.

The expansion comes as Playmobil UK & Ireland continues to grow, with retail sales up 4% year-on-year at the end of June.
