Banijay Kids & Family: new licensing deals for Mr Bean

Banijay Kids & Family announced a wave of new licensing partnerships for the iconic Mr Bean brand, alongside the appointment of a new licensing agent for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

New line of dress-up apparel for the UK

In the UK, Blues Group has signed to produce a new line of dress-up apparel inspired by the beloved character. Additional new partners in the UK include Intelex with a range of heatable plush‑based products; Teddy Mountain UK, which will further strengthen the plush category with a dedicated line of Mr Bean  make your own plush; and Droyz, which specialises in customisable collectible figures. In Malaysia, Banijay Kids & Family has secured a deal with JomRun, which will launch Mr Bean‑branded marathons across Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Australia. Alongside these new signings, Banijay Kids & Family confirms the renewal of two long-standing apparel partners: Spike Leisurewear and Aykroyds TDP.

Strengthen strategic growth

To strengthen the brand’s strategic growth across central Europe, Banijay Kids & Family has appointed leading agency V.I.P. Entertainment & Merchandising GmbH as the licensing agent for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, to spearhead Mr Bean’s expansion within these markets.

The fourth season of Mr Bean: The Animated Series premiered last year in the UK on ITVX and Boomerang, and globally on Warner Bros. Discovery’s kids’ channels and streaming services through deals agreed by Banijay Rights.
