Betty Boop Announces new Brand Collaborations

Brand-licensing agency, Global Icons and Fleischer Studios, owner of the Betty Boop IP, are showcasing new summer licensing collaborations for the animated icon with several brands, including new pickleball paddles with Volair.

Volair, known for its pickleball paddles and accessories, will debut a new collection of gear in August featuring Betty Boop. Recognized for their support of the growth of pickleball and its community, Volair’s paddles are designed to withstand both intense pro matches and casual pick-up games.

On Aug. 1, Lola Camera drops a digital camera and range of accessories featuring the Queen of Cartoons. In addition to a bright red camera, the collection will include a case, an album and other matching accessories.

Along with these introductions, the brand collaboration with Bella Doña will continue with a new collection to be released this fall. Bella Doña is an apparel and accessories brand rooted in Chicano and Latin American culture and co-founded by LaLa Romero and Natalia Durazo. The collaboration is part of the expanding Betty of the People initiative, a program created by Fleischer Studios to make Betty Boop more accessible to a broader range of communities through partnerships that reflect different heritages and cultures.

This past year, Betty Boop has charmed fans with a number of notable and viral collaborations, including a colorful line of cosmetics with Glamlite, apparel and accessories from Steady Hands and a paperback edition of the book “Betty Boop’s Guide to a Bold and Balanced Life” (Skyhorse Publishing).
