Bluey teams up with Magna-Tiles for new magnetic building collection
Magna-Tiles and BBC Studios have announced a licensing partnership to bring Bluey and her family into the magnetic building toy category.
Launch in summer 2027
The first-ever Bluey Magna-Tiles collection is set to launch in summer 2027 across multiple regions. The range will feature character figures from the animated series, allowing children to recreate favourite episodes or combine the characters with existing Magna-Tiles to create new games and adventures.
The partnership combines Bluey’s storytelling with Magna‑Tiles’ approach to open‑ended, meaningful play, with a focus on creativity, critical thinking, and developmental skills.
Bluey’s imaginative world
Magna-Tiles President Michael Valenta said the partnership will bring together the magnetic building brand and the preschool property. BBC Studios Executive Vice President Global Consumer Products Suzy Raia said the new products will offer children an opportunity to engage with Bluey’s imaginative world while developing key skills.
The partnership will coincide with the planned global theatrical release of the feature-length Bluey movie on August 6, 2027. The CG‑animated film is written and directed by Bluey creator Joe Brumm, produced by Amber Naismith, and co‑directed by Richard Jeffery.
