Brandtrends reports: World's most popular entertainment brands
The BrandTrends Group has released its reports on the world's most popular entertainment brands.
This provides insight into the awareness, popularity and appeal of brands across different age groups, from young children to adults.
According to their evaluations, the results on trends and industries are as follows:
- Anime and Mangas: The growing interest of the anime and manga genre continues.
Of particular mention is the popularity of franchises such as Pokémon and Naruto.
- Video games: The video game sector is also showing promising development.
The decline in major games is being offset by "Roblox" and Nintendo products.
- Streaming and TV Channels: The decline in streaming sources and TV channels has been halted.
This highlights the continued appeal as an entertainment channel.
-Traditional entertainment categories: Movies, cartoons and series, and toys continue to show a slight downward trend compared to the more mobile-based categories. Some large providers are performing better than others.
According to BrandTrends Group CEO Philippe Guinaudeau, the study covers 40 countries and the opinions of 67,000 respondents.
The reports include more than two million open-ended mentions, track 18 KPIs across 1,232 different brands and 18 product categories. In addition, more than 11,000 different brands and names were identified as respondents' favorites.
