Celebrating 65 years of "The Smurfs"

In a collaboration, IMPS, the world distributor of the CG-animated series The Smurfs and co-producers Peyo Productions, Ellipse Animation, KiKA, Ketnet, RTBF and TF1 have announced that a third season of the hit global series The Smurfs is in production. The third season will air worldwide on Nickelodeon and local free-to-air beginning next year.

New characters ans familiar villains

The original 100 Smurfs will be joined by new ones, and in addition to the old familiar villain Gargamel, there will even be a new villain.

2025: Rihanna as Smurfette

A new Smurfs film produced and distributed by Paramount Pictures/Nickelodeon Animation starring Rihanna as Smurfette has also been announced for 2025.
