Change of baton at Hasbro: General Manager North Europe (DACH & UK) Markus Großweischede leaves the toy group
Markus Großweischede worked for Hasbro for 16 years in various management roles in marketing and sales. Since 2020, he held the responsibility as General Manager North Europe (DACH & UKI). Now he is leaving the toy company to take on new challenges.
"After 16 years of excellent work, Markus will leave us. During this time he has been instrumental in driving our franchise brands such as Nerf, Transformers, Play-Doh and Monopoly in the market. He has been a trusted leader and mentor due to his positive energy as well as absolute dedication to his team and colleagues at Hasbro. We thank Markus for his commitment and valuable contribution to the success of our company," said Joao Nielsen Sebastian, President EMEA, APAC & LATAM.
He will be succeeded in the DACH markets as Managing Director of Hasbro Deutschland GmbH by Aslı Çetkin. Çetkin previously excelled in developing Hasbro's business there as Country Manager Turkiye.
"The DACH region is an important market for Hasbro. I am very pleased to announce this next step of Aslı Çetkin and to support her. Aslı already has a very successful career and is one of our top talents. She fully embodies Hasbro's values. I am convinced that under her leadership and with a very strong team, Hasbro DACH will continue to entertain and connect generations through the wonder of gaming," said Joao Nielsen Sebastian.
David Jürgens, Hasbro's new Commercial Director DACH, will report to her.
