Color Me Mine CEO Teresa Johnson named to Forbes 50 Over 50
Color Me Mine CEO Teresa Johnson has been named to the 2026 Forbes “50 Over 50” list, which recognizes 200 women over the age of 50 for their achievements and impact across business and culture. Johnson was selected in the Lifestyle category.
Johnson joined Color Me Mine as CEO in 2021, bringing previous experience as a multi-unit owner and operator within the paint-your-own pottery industry. Under her leadership, the brand has entered a new phase of growth, with systemwide sales increasing 31% between FY2023 and FY2025. The number of studios grew from 119 to 139 during the same period.
Color Me Mine now has more than 150 studios across the U.S. and internationally, with another 21 locations in development. Johnson has also focused on strengthening franchisee support, improving the customer experience and investing in technology and operational systems to help studio owners grow their businesses.
Johnson said the recognition highlights that meaningful professional achievements can come at any age and hopes her story will encourage other women to pursue new opportunities later in their careers.
