DeAPlaneta Entertainment Named Exclusive Licensing Agent for Sesame Street in CEE

DeAPlaneta Entertainment has been appointed as the exclusive licensing agent for Sesame Street in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), following a new agreement with Sesame Workshop, the global nonprofit behind the iconic children’s brand. This partnership grants DeAPlaneta the rights to manage merchandising, publishing, home video, audio, and promotional licensing for Sesame Street across the region.

The project will be led from DeAPlaneta’s CEE office in Warsaw, with a dedicated team focused on expanding the brand’s reach. This appointment marks another milestone in DeAPlaneta’s European growth, building on recent successes in Italy, France, and Germany, and highlights the company’s commitment to nurturing evergreen properties with cross-generational appeal.

Sesame Street, which debuted in 1969, has educated and entertained children worldwide with beloved characters like Elmo, Cookie Monster, and Bert & Ernie. The new partnership aims to bring the show’s unique blend of learning and fun to even more families in CEE, leveraging DeAPlaneta’s licensing expertise and Sesame Workshop’s expanded distribution.
