Disney and Formula 1 Rev Up “Fuel the Magic” for 2026

Ahead of the 2026 Formula 1 season, Disney and Formula 1 are continuing their multi-year “Fuel the Magic” partnership, combining storytelling, racing culture, and immersive fan experiences at Grands Prix worldwide. Following the momentum of the 2025 Las Vegas race, the 2026 campaign launches with a racing-inspired content series at the Australian Grand Prix and expands at the Chinese Grand Prix, with activations planned throughout the season.

Original vertical comic series

A key highlight is an original vertical comic series, “Mickey X Formula 1 Racing to the Top!”, created with WEBTOON. Debuting on March 6 at the Australian Grand Prix, the series will run exclusively on WEBTOON’s global platforms, releasing new episodes tied to each race weekend. Aimed at a new generation of fans, it blends the world of Mickey & Friends with the drama and teamwork of Formula 1, as Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy help a racing team in crisis.

The campaign also introduces race-specific “Fuel the Magic” merchandise at select events, beginning in China, with pop-up retail experiences and products reflecting each host city. Special Disney entertainment will appear at selected race weekends.

Unite racing, entertainment, and fashion

In fashion, Gentle Monster will launch the 2026 Circuit Collection, an eyewear collaboration with Disney and Formula 1 featuring eight styles, including three designs inspired by Mickey & Friends. Pop-up experiences in Seoul and Shanghai will accompany the release. Additional collaborations include new Disney Store launches—such as a Mickey Mouse plush in a Formula 1 uniform debuting in Australia—and expanded collections with Gentle Monster and Uniqlo across apparel, accessories, and collectibles.

Overall, “Fuel the Magic” aims to unite racing, entertainment, and fashion through original content, digital experiences, and fan-focused activations that bring the energy of Formula 1 to audiences worldwide.
