Disney General Manager Marc Becker-Floris to leave
Marc Becker-Floris will leave The Walt Disney Company at the end of September after 20 years with the company.
Most recently, Becker-Floris served as General Manager of Disney Consumer Products (DCP) for Germany, Austria and Switzerland as well as the Benelux markets. In this role, he was responsible for the licensing business and the company’s cooperation with retailers.
During his two decades at Disney, Becker-Floris held a number of different positions. His career included serving as Head of Sales at Buena Vista Home Entertainment, building Disney Ad Sales & Promotions, developing strategic partnerships and the company’s Healthy Living concept, and ultimately leading Disney’s licensing and retail operations.
The time was right to start a new chapter
Becker-Floris said he had decided that the time was right to start a new chapter after 20 years with the company. He expressed his gratitude to business partners and colleagues, highlighting the joint development of the licensing and retail business as well as the partnerships and achievements made during his tenure.
Nigel Cook, Vice President Brand Commercialisation & Retail at Disney Consumer Products EMEA, will take over the GSA DCP retail team on an interim basis.
