Disney, NFL, Champion and Fanatics reveal all 32 team-character pairings
Disney Consumer Products, the NFL, Champion and Fanatics have completed their first-of-its-kind collaboration pairing all 32 NFL teams with characters from Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars. The full Disney | Champion NFL Collection is now available, expanding on the first matchups revealed at Fanatics Fest NYC.
The collection includes T-shirts, crewnecks and fleece styles for every NFL team. The products are available through NFLShop.com, Fanatics.com, DisneyStore.com and selected retailers nationwide, giving fans a new way to combine team pride with popular characters as the new football season approaches.
How the pairings were selected
Each pairing was selected around characteristics, traditions and fan culture associated with the respective team, as well as similarities with the personalities and stories of the chosen characters. Among the matchups are the Buffalo Bills with Beast, Miami Dolphins with King Triton, New England Patriots with Captain America and New York Jets with Buzz Lightyear.
Other pairings include the Kansas City Chiefs with the Big Bad Wolf, Las Vegas Raiders with Darth Vader, Dallas Cowboys with Woody, Detroit Lions with Simba, Green Bay Packers with Chewbacca and Minnesota Vikings with Thor. The Atlanta Falcons are represented by the Millennium Falcon, while the San Francisco 49ers are paired with Stinky Pete the Prospector.
Part of the wider collaboration
The collection forms part of the wider collaboration between Disney, the NFL, Champion and Fanatics and contributes to Disney and ESPN’s “Year of the Super Bowl.” The initiative is building toward ESPN’s first-ever presentation of the Super Bowl on February 14, 2027.
