Dungeons & Dragons: new player's guide
Wizards of the Coast is pleased to announce today the release of the new Player's Guide for Dungeons & Dragons. The ultimate guide for players of the fifth edition is now available in German. Fans can expect revised rules for character creation and development, exploration, combat, equipment, spells and much more.

This comprehensive 384-page book provides players with all the updates to the current edition of Dungeons & Dragons. The new content includes:
- 12 character classes with 48 subclasses, including three brand new ones: Path of the World Tree for barbarians, School of the Dance for bards, Circle of the Sea for druids.
- 10 species, 75 talents and 16 backgrounds.
- Over 380 spells, including many exciting new ones.
- New mastery trait for weapons, allowing more flexibility and versatility in combat.
- New options for crafting equipment and using tools.
- New illustrations for all characters, weapons and equipment.
- Optimized layout for easier use.
Following the release of the English edition in September 2024, the new Player's Handbook has become the fastest-selling product in the 50-year history of Dungeons & Dragons. Wizards of the Coast is extremely pleased to now be able to offer this new core rulebook to players in German, French, Italian and Spanish.
