ESA and Pokémon team up for World Space Week

The European Space Agency (ESA) and The Pokémon Company International (TPCi) are joining forces to celebrate World Space Week from October 4–10, 2026.

Limited-time collaboration

The limited-time collaboration brings together ESA and Pokémon around shared themes of curiosity, exploration and imagination. The partnership aims to connect audiences with space through creative storytelling and inspire young people and future generations.

According to ESA, both organisations share an ambition to encourage new generations to dream big, explore and experiment. While ESA uses science and exploration to expand knowledge of the Universe, Pokémon has encouraged generations of fans to discover, learn and explore through play.

Connections between space, science and storytelling

The collaboration is intended to build connections between space, science and storytelling while generating excitement among young audiences and Pokémon fans around the world.

Further details about the collaboration will be announced at a later date.
