Fans celebrate Star Wars Day worldwide on May 4.
"May the Force be with you!" - The Jedi's farewell greeting has undoubtedly achieved cult status! It was first introduced in "Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope" in 1977, but for millions of Star Wars fans, the famous phrase has another meaning, as the pun in the original quote provides the suggested date for the worldwide Star Wars Day, which is celebrated by fans with countless actions and events every year on May 4 (May the 4th // May the Force...).
What once began as a surprise success in the cinema has now grown into a gigantic universe that extends far beyond the films of the Skywalker saga.
