The world's first Angry Birds Café opened this weekend in the 1.2 million-square-foot Tangram development in Queens, New York.

One of the world's most popular game franchises, Angry Birds, is now being presented to its fans in a unique concept as a retail café through a

partnership between SCG America and Rovio Entertainment, creator of Angry Birds. The collaboration is designed to create an interactive and engaging place for Angry Birds fans to linger.

At the café, called iSwii by Angry Birds, visitors can enjoy baked goods and cakes, as well as bubble teas and coffees. There will also be photo opportunities, games and great activities.

Here, the fun and thrill of the game is combined with the interactive café to create a whole new visitor experience.

From Angry Birds graphics, statues and fancy decor, the café takes its visitors into the world of Angry Birds.

"Launching iSwii by Angry Birds is a perfect way to bring locals and Angry Birds fans back to fun in-person experiences,“

said Executive Director of Asset Management of SCG America, Robert Leck.

"This unique concept will feature endless culinary treats, bright visuals, newest Angry Birds Games and interactive technology,

and the coolest-ever themed shopping experience. Angry Birds as a global brand was a perfect fit for this location with its appeal to a wide age range,

gender-neutral audience and touch points in all entertainment forms. The fans will now be able to enjoy and engage with the brand in a completely new way,

the location truly is an exciting first for New York and North America."
