First-Ever LEGO Brick-Built Trophies for 2025 F1 British Grand Prix at Silverstone
For the first time in Formula 1 history, the winners of the 2025 British Grand Prix at Silverstone received trophies made entirely from LEGO bricks. The LEGO Group, in partnership with Formula 1, created these unique awards to celebrate the sport’s 75th anniversary at the iconic Silverstone circuit, where the first F1 World Championship race was held in 1950.
The top three drivers—Lando Norris (McLaren), Oscar Piastri (McLaren), and Nico Hülkenberg (KICK Sauber)—as well as the winning constructor, McLaren, were presented with these custom-built trophies. Each trophy was inspired by the classic Royal Automobile Club (RAC) design and constructed from up to 2,717 LEGO elements, weighing over 2kg and standing more than 59cm tall for the winner and constructor.
Designed by LEGO’s Samuel Liltorp Johnson and built by a team of seven master builders in Billund, the project took over 210 hours to complete. The collaboration highlights LEGO’s ongoing partnership with Formula 1, aiming to engage fans of all ages through creative and playful experiences. The trophies were also showcased at the LEGO F1 Family Watch Party in London, further connecting motorsport and LEGO enthusiasts worldwide.
