Former tonies Marketing Director Melanie Schniepp joins Miko
Mikoannounced the hiring of Melanie Schniepp as the company’s new Vice President of Retail Sales and Marketing. In this new role, Schniepp will be responsible for growing Miko’s brand awareness and distribution model within the U.S.
Schniepp's past at tones
Schniepp spent nearly five years at tonies, where she was instrumental in tripling the brand’s retail presence at Target – contributing to a 40% increase in wholesale revenue in H1 2025. She led high-impact trade events that positioned the brand as a category innovator and drove the company’s exponential U.S. growth, establishing North America as its largest market.
New role at Miko
In her role at Miko, Schniepp will support U.S. market expansion, focused on big-box retail placement and marketing campaigns that elevate parents’ trust and choice in Miko AI products. Miko recently secured placement for the Miko Mini+ robot in Costco stores nationwide. She is also responsible for overseeing the recently announced partnership with iHeart Media.
