Combining Disney storytelling with Formula 1 fandom
Launched in 2025, “Fuel the Magic” combines Disney storytelling with Formula 1 fandom through immersive experiences, original content and merchandise for fans around the world. The extension adds a full season to the original agreement, while Cars marks the first expansion of the collaboration beyond Mickey & Friends.
The announcement was made at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, where fans can get an early look at the new Disney and Pixar Cars Collection with Formula 1 at the Disney Store booth. D23 attendees can also experience the collaboration through the Formula 1 x Disney “Fuel the Magic” Photo Experience.
Since its launch, “Fuel the Magic” has featured Mickey & Friends across entertainment, merchandise, content and community initiatives at major Formula 1 events around the world.

The collection will also launch online through the Formula 1 Official Online Store and DisneyStore.com on August 14 at 10 a.m. PT before rolling out globally on August 27. It will also arrive at the F1 Flagship Store at the Formula 1 Pirelli Gran Premio d’Italia 2026.
“Fuel the Magic” will continue throughout the year beyond Formula 1 race weekends through original content, including the WEBTOON comic series, as well as Formula 1 x Disney and F1 ACADEMY x Disney products available through the F1 Store and DisneyStore.com.
