FTO invites to the Symposium 2026: Making Toys Fair

The Fair Toys Organisation e.V. (FTO), founded on 14 July 2020 at the Toy Museum in Nuremberg, is organising a symposium on the topic of ‘Making Toys Fair’ on 29 September 2026 from 1.30 pm to 5.30 pm in the Schöner Saal at Nuremberg Town Hall.

Topic and questions

• How can social responsibility, environmental sustainability and transparent, fairly structured supply chains be further promoted and strengthened within the toy industry?

• What steps are necessary to ensure that fair play becomes the norm in future, and what role does the EmpCo Guideline play for the industry – particularly in the context of credible and transparent communication regarding sustainability and responsible supply chains?
A series of thematic sessions will examine current developments, challenges and opportunities relating to the industry’s sustainable transformation and highlight new approaches.

Target audiences
The event is aimed at anyone who manufactures, trades in or uses toys for educational purposes, as well as stakeholders from politics, trade associations and civil society who are committed to a sustainable and fair toy industry.
