Great success for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game (TCG) in Europe 

Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. (Konami) has announced that this year's European National Championships nearly broke the 10,000 participant mark.

In a total of 20 national events, 9935 duelists competed against each other. One of the highlights, besides the announcement of the European Champion in Utrecht, 

where the qualifications for the World Championship 2023 (WCQ). The tournament will be held in August for the first time since 2019. From 05-06 August, 

the best 32 duelists will compete against each other in the Tokyo International Exhibition Center (Tokyo Big Sight) and fight for the world champion title.

In addition to the European Champion, 6 other top players from the European WCQ could qualify for the World Championship.
