Group Boticário launching Pampers baby care line in Brazil

Grupo Boticário and P&G, are joining forces to launch the world's first Pampers baby care line. The new baby care products will be available in Brazilian pharmacies and supermarkets starting in September. They are part of an accelerating growth market that is expected to reach BRL4.5 billion in sales in 2022 and BRL5.2 billion by 2025, according to Kantar data (updated to IGBM FY2022).

Expectations and plans

With this product innovation, the partnership is expected to reach more than 36 thousand points of sale in the B2B channel in the first year, contributing to the strengthening of this important business line of Grupo Boticário, whose sales increased by 60% in 2022 and are expected to grow by 107% by the end of this year.

The new line will be managed by Grupo Boticário, a 100% Brazilian company founded over 46 years ago and currently present in over 50 countries with more than 4,000 brick-and-mortar stores.

13 products for the new portfolio

The product portfolio will initially comprise 13 products, including:

  • Body Care (Repair Cream, Babytopia Lotion, Moisturizing Oil and Moisturizing Lotion).
  • Hair care (shampoo and conditioner)
  • Bath (liquid soap).

Hypoallergenic and sustainable

The new line of care is 100% hypoallergenic, designed for all skin types, even the most sensitive, and can be used safely from the first days of life. In line with the basic pillars of Grupo Boticário, which in 2022 was awarded the title of the sixth most sustainable cosmetics company in the world according to the DowJones Sustainability Index, the products were developed with up to 98% natural ingredients.
