Hape launches Pixelz collection of musical toys
Hape Toys has launched Pixelz, a new collection of interactive musical toys designed to encourage children to explore music through singing, drumming, playing and creative experimentation.
Aimed at children aged 18 months to six years
The range is aimed at children aged 18 months to six years. Younger children can discover sounds by shaking, tapping and pressing, while older kids can create songs, experiment with their voices and put on their own performances.
Building on Hape’s Dynamic Pixel Piano, which was a 2025 Toy of the Year finalist, the collection features seven additional instruments, including the Rainbow Rock Guitar, Bright Beats Pixel Drum, Sing-Along Pixel Boombox, Popstar Microphone, Shake & Tap Tambourine, Dynamic Pixel Drum and Melody Maestro Trumpet.
Colorful pixel-inspired designs
All Pixelz instruments combine colorful pixel-inspired designs with lights, built-in music and interactive sound effects. The products can be used individually or together, allowing children, siblings and families to create their own band.
The Pixelz collection is now rolling out across North America through retailers including Hape.com, Target, Amazon, FAO Schwarz, Barnes & Noble and Nordstrom.
