India: Crunchyroll and Black White Orange team up
Crunchyroll and brand licensing agency Black White Orange have agreed on a licensing partnership. The agency will be responsible for overseeing and managing the merchandise licensing programs for Crunchyroll in India.
Anime is captivating fans across India
“Anime has captivated fans across India and this new partnership with BWO will allow us to better serve the local Indian anime community,” said Anna Songco Adamian, vice president of global consumer products, Crunchyroll. “We’re looking forward to working with new partners to celebrate anime and grow the love of this dynamic artform across the nation!”
Merch for popular series
Black White Orange will be responsible for over 35 anime titles that can be streamed on Crunchyroll. Among them are popular series such as Zom 100: Bucket List of The Dead, Robotech, and My Dress-Up Darling. Raphael Guimaraes, Crunchyroll's deputy director, will lead the consumer products business in the Indian subcontinent.
With this measure, Crunchyroll ensures that official anime merchandise reaches Indian consumers through legal channels.
