JAKKS Pacific launches global Anime, Manga, and Digital Creator platform
JAKKS Pacific, together with Disguise Inc., has announced the launch of a large-scale global platform focused on anime, manga, and digital creator culture—described as one of the company’s most ambitious strategic initiatives to date.
Developed over more than two years, the platform positions JAKKS within one of the fastest-growing segments of global entertainment. Built around partnerships with leading anime properties and key industry collaborators, it aims to drive long-term global growth, stronger monetization, and increased shareholder value.
Partners across licensing and more
JAKKS will work with partners across licensing, fandom engagement, live entertainment, and brand commercialization to create a wide range of premium products, including collectibles, figures, plush, tech accessories, costumes, and role-play items.
CEO Stephen Berman said the initiative is designed to expand the company’s global reach, accelerate revenue opportunities, and strengthen connections with highly engaged fans shaping modern pop culture.
A key component is an expanded merchandising strategy targeting live events, performances, collaborations, and influencer-led activations—areas the company sees as high-growth opportunities with strong revenue potential.
New global distribution
In parallel, JAKKS is rolling out a new global distribution network spanning direct-to-consumer, specialty and experiential retail, and promotional channels to improve speed-to-market and broaden consumer reach.
The initiative builds on JAKKS’ history of commercializing major entertainment brands. Further details on partnerships and product lines will be shared throughout 2026, with initial launches expected in 2027.
