Jim Henson Company appoints DeAPlaneta for European distribution and licensing
The Jim Henson Company, which is celebrating its 70th year, has announced that it has appointed DeAPlaneta Entertainment for European distribution and licensing of select titles from its catalogue of children’s series.
Reflecting the company’s legacy
DeAPlaneta Entertainment will handle the distribution of several properties for children and preschool audiences including Dinosaur Train, Pajanimals, Dot. and more, each reflecting the company’s legacy of creating entertaining, engaging and transformative television. The agreement also includes the 80’s series Fraggle Rock, which remains a cornerstone of The Jim Henson Company and continues to charm and inspire audiences of all ages decades after its premiere.
